The HIC Youth Care Facility is a registered Non-Profit organization, operating a child and youth care center with the goal of providing holistic and respectful home care to a small group of residents.
Our aim is to provide a warm, comfortable, safe and loving home for all our children, with the interaction of other organizations involved in the individual children’s needs.

Management of the centre
The Center has a management committee that is drawn up from various businessmen & woman of the Newcastle community. All our members are of Christian faith and contribute to the success of the Center with their Business skills, natural abilities & spiritual leadership.
Our financial operations are overseen by Louis Kruger (treasurer) and audited on an annual basis by registered auditors. Ness & associates
The organisation has been approved as a Public Benefits Organisation in terms of section 30 of the Income Tax act, (the Act) and the receipts and accruals are exempt from income tax in terms of section 10(1)(cN) of the Act. Donations by or to the public benefit organisation are exempt from donations tax in terms of section 56(1)(h) of the Act.
The Child and youth care center is situated at Kleindal farm plot number 15177, Ingogo. The farm is located just off the N11 national road, 18km from Newcastle and borders on the Ngogo River. Andrew Pienaar (son of the founder of the Hope in Christ mission Sarah Holland) and his wife Jo-Ann Pienaar are the managers on the site.
